1951    Elite Publishers Ltd. was founded

1957    Elite received an Japanese award for a Petroleum Company Calendar

1958    Elite received an award in Germany for a PIA Calendar

1966    Dr. Ahmed Mirza Jamil inaugurated as Chairman of PAPGAI (Pakistan Association of Printing and Graphic Arts Industry)

1971    Elite won two Bronze Medals for the books: “Architecture and Art Treasures of Pakistan” and “Khush Zaiqa” (the only Urdu book to win an international award) at the Leipzig International World Book Fair

1976    Chairman Dr. Ahmed Mirza Jamil hosted an event for His Highness Prince Karim Agha Khan as president of Rotary

1980    Noori Nastaliq was invented

1984    Elite began its training collaboration with JAPGAT (Japanese Association of Graphic Arts Technology)

1989    Elite became a publicly listed company in the Karachi and Lahore  Stock Exchange

1999    Chairman of Elite, Dr. Ahmed Mirza Jamil was awarded:

*    Tamgha-e-Imtiaz for Noori Nastaliq –  “An Invention of      National Importance” by the Government of Pakistan.

*    Honorary degree of Doctorate by Karachi University

*    Lifetime Achievement Award

1999    Elite became the first printing and packaging company in Pakistan to attain ISO 9002 certification

2001    Elite celebrates its 50th Anniversary

2002    Elite re-launches its paper products by the name of Alnoor

2004    Elite introduces its new creative division – Elite Concepts

2007    Elite hosts the first International book fair at Karachi (KIBF)

2009    Elite represents Pakistan’s Printing & Publishing Industry on an international level at The Frankfurt Book Fair.

2010    Director of Elite Publishers Ltd is appointed as the convener to host the 6th & 7th Karachi International Book Fair.

2011    Elite celebrates its 60th Anniversary.
